If ever I’ve seen “ready” it’s you in that picture from about a week ago! You know I’m not a runner (I’m really, really not) so I won’t guess about the shoulds and shouldn’ts. I read remarks by a distance runner concerning fast walking on steep inclines to save energy. Is that frowned on or banned outright at some venues? I know, Linda, you’ll take the decision that serves You best. Sofa surf when needed!

2 weeks ago I had the flu and rest was the best medicine. I loathed it and missed my training runs but it was necessary to recover and get back to lace up. Thank you Linda! Good luck on your race. I can't wait to hear all about it.
