I look forward to sharing my writing with you once more.
It’s time for a reset. A few weeks ago, I got derailed. I kept writing, but I hid. Sometimes, the choice to be outward-facing feels overwhelming. Digging around the attic of my mind uncovers black mould, which soon covers everything.
I’m grateful for my dear friend Dr. Cynthia Miller (
) who helped me lovingly excise the darkness consuming me.I’m grateful for the energizing 15k race I completed.
I’m grateful for the friends and those in my creative family who checked up on me.
I’m grateful for tough lessons and experiences.
I’m grateful for opportunities that cross my path.
I’m grateful for grief that reminds me how deeply I love.
I’m grateful for you, dear readers, who continue to follow me here.
FYI, I will set aside sharing my memoir for a time but will resume my Tuesday and Thursday posts in The Fullness of Life.
Be well, dear readers.
After John the Baptist baptized Jesus, Jesus went into the desert for 40 days and 40 nights. Satan appeared to tempt Jesus but failed.
I know you weren’t gone for 40. The black mold perturbing your thoughts wasn’t literally Satan. Still, being derailed from our routines is not insignificant. And how we regroup and resume can make our return from the desert a process helping us see, or revisit, life lessons.
I’m so very glad to have seen you in my inbox this morning! All the very best.
I’m so happy that you are back and doing so well.
It feels like a great time of reset for many of us. We are coming out of the darkness and starting to create coming from a new light and inner joy.
