A short, belated post.
I was distracted this past week with the wonderful ‘Resilient Writers Bootcamp’, a few auditions, my 15k Around the Bay Road Race, and now, babysitting four dogs.
It simply pulled together four passions in my life: writing, acting, running and loving dogs.

Mother Nature delivered as I thought she might when I wrote my recent post, Finding Friends in the Rain. As we lined up at the start, the heavens opened up. It was hovering around 0 °C. We immediately got soaked. The rain lashed on and off throughout the race; fortunately, the wind wasn’t much of a factor. I was proud of my finish. This year’s course was much hillier, and while I didn’t quite make my goal time, I held my pace consistently through the race. I finished a few minutes faster than last year.
The trick on the morning of the race was getting up and taking care of feeding and walking all four dogs, as well as getting myself fed and watered. The alarm went off at 4:30 am. We managed to get it all done, and I felt pretty warmed up when I got to the start line.

The Resilient Writer’s Bootcamp has given me the structure to work through the next stage of finishing my memoir. I’m grateful to be back on the road, with solid directions to guide me.
A bit of spaghetti on the wall today. Thank you for being here.
Happy hump day… (which certainly has a different meaning with this crew).
Time to get out for walkies.
Dedication: THREE Different walks! Fun!
Great dog pics and congratulations on making it all work - resiliently!
